The staff were friendly and gave useful tips about local dining and shopping spots. However, the breakfast sausage patties were hard and over‑cooked, the eggs were cold and firm, while the coffee was excellent.

The room had a stale smell and was not very clean; popcorn lay on the floor between the bed and nightstand, and the bathroom had hair and dirt. The corners seemed to have only a quick sweep, not a proper cleaning. I also couldn’t get a late checkout – the night before I had to wake up at 6 am to ask for it, even though I just wanted to sleep in on a Sunday.

The front desk, Michael O(something), cursed at our group and called the cops when we asked why the pool was closed, even though online times said it would stay open until 10 pm. He was the rudest front‑desk attendant I’ve ever met, smug and laughing at us for wanting to celebrate a birthday by the pool after a softball tournament, claiming the pool was closed without a legitimate reason. That was the worst experience ever.

The hotel is close to the softball complex. Online it says the pool closes at 10 pm, but after a long tournament we were told (very rudely) that the pool was already closed. The front desk staff called one of our parents a derogatory name, leading to law enforcement involvement. We had to change rooms because a broken picture had shattered glass everywhere when we checked in.
