Breakfast buffet was good, the room was satisfactory and the hotel’s location was optimal; the old town can be reached on foot along the Elbe in about 15 minutes. The staff at reception and during breakfast were very friendly and arrived early. Nothing negative to report.

The hotel is very centrally located and has a balcony. We were placed in the annex building; everything was clean but very outdated. The mattress was very worn out. Toothbrushes were plastic, which is unacceptable. There was no cloakroom to hang jackets; everything had to be placed on the chair. The carpet was also not very modern. There was no place to store wet or damp shoes, and no safe for valuables. The owner/operator seem a bit out of touch with business realities; something needs to be reconsidered. Parking fees? How do you justify €25 per night for the underground garage and €15 for a regular spot? It could be less. The garden area was poorly maintained, probably due to a lack of staff.
