The B&B is across the road from the beach. The room was a decent size and comfortable. We never met the host and handled self‑check‑in and check‑out. Breakfast was continental and reasonable at $20 each. It would have been nice to meet the host, but we don’t bite…well, not during the day!

I only spent one night here, yet the bed was incredibly comfy, the room spotless, and the vibe felt like home; I’d definitely book again if I return to Kaikoura, and honestly, there’s nothing to complain about.
