The Wild Khao Yai

We rented a tent by the water, it was a fun tent, cozy inside and around it! It had its own bathroom, which looked very tidy and clean. There’s plenty to do in the park: a playground, a football pitch, bikes, karts, a foam party. Everything can be ordered and delivered to your tent; just send a message and it’s brought right away—food, drinks, towels, whatever. What really disappointed us was the water quality; you can swim but you’d rather not, it looks filthy. It’s just a concrete tank with no atmosphere. Also, if it rains in the evening you have no outdoor spot to sit comfortably; a sheet or something hanging over the outside seating area would help. Many bikes, scooters and karts were broken, frustrating the kids; the karts had little battery life. Breakfast and afternoon snack are included in the price but offer little choice, at least for Westerners. The restaurant has no ambience at all. The broken trampoline was replaced by chance while we were there.

The campsite is the kind kids love, but the old toys are mostly broken; only the go‑karts work. The water slide isn’t usable, almost rotting with green water—no water activities at all. The foam party was scary because the still green water was thought to have bacteria.

Very kid‑friendly – the hotel has a playground, go‑karts, and even a small indoor play area inside the restaurant. The kids also enjoyed s’mores over the bonfire. The restaurant feels a bit off – maybe needs a bit of cleaning and maintenance, including the play area, but that didn’t bother us.

“Good idea 💡”

We loved the staff, they were very helpful and a pleasure to meet, and we had a BBQ every night outside our caravan. The caravan was a good size for just sleeping. We liked the idea of all the bikes, go‑karts, lake and playing equipment. All the bikes, go‑karts and equipment need to be replaced; they keep breaking down, probably not working. The lake needs cleaning, plenty of bits floating around. The bathroom in our caravan could use some work or replacement.

“Tente très confortable dans un joli camping verdoyant avec activités”

We had an incredible stay in this beautiful natural setting, surrounded by comfortable glamping accommodations. Our son had an absolute blast trying out all the activities, from pedal cars to a trampoline and a pool with foam. The fitness center was well-equipped, and we enjoyed a delicious barbecue on our private terrace. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Our only minor complaint was that the water in the pool could have been cleaner.
