Breakfast topped everything on our 14‑day trip; Pam cooked while we chatted in her kitchen, shared loads of tips and recommendations, and we enjoyed every single day—nothing else needed.
“Schöne Unterkunft in Wassernähe”
The breakfast and rooms were excellent, and we could even pick from a list what we wanted for the next day’s breakfast; the very open‑minded host Pam supplied info, restaurant tips, and even booked a table for us, while all the interesting spots in St. Andrews were within walking distance and street parking in front of the house was always available; the only downside was that we had the only room with the bathroom on the hallway, but that was only for us.

The first thing that struck me was Pamela’s welcome – it was fantastic. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home in this cozy, historically rich house that was impeccably decorated. We took a tour of the surroundings; St Andrews is wonderful thanks to its heritage and history. We wrapped up the trip with a very good night’s sleep and an exceptional traditional Scottish breakfast prepared by Pam. Kudos and thanks to our host for everything.

Pam was amazing—she guided us on restaurants, activities, and transport, and I can’t say enough good things about her; breakfast was lovely and she made my husband’s birthday extra special, so we’d definitely stay with her again. The property is about a 25‑minute walk from downtown, but cabs are available for roughly £5 one way.
