Calling this place a five‑star hotel is absurd. The room was freezing, and when I asked staff about the air‑conditioning, they just told me to switch it off because there was no heating option. The rooms felt old and out‑of‑date, service was almost nonexistent, and the staff acted oddly and unprofessionally. Overall, a letdown and nowhere near five‑star quality.

I arrived to a spacious room with a beautiful view and a decent breakfast selection. The staff were friendly, the sauna was good, and the room offered a light snack, juice, and water that were replenished daily. The pillows were huge and turned out to be less comfortable without them. The desserts at breakfast were not up to my taste as a sweet tooth, so I wasn’t satisfied with them. In the summer, walking to the hotel takes about 7 minutes because it sits on a hill, but a taxi is inexpensive and we used it.

The hotel’s location is close to the city center, the rooms are incredibly large, and the linens are high quality. Parking is convenient, and the breakfast is very good and tasty.

The only thing we liked about the hotel was the nice pool that was available for us to use. Unfortunately, our experience was far from a 5‑star standard. We stayed with our three sons in Room 505 for all three nights and suffered from a severe, unbearable, foul sewage smell coming from the bathroom. We had to keep the windows open constantly just to breathe in the room. We complained repeatedly to the front desk, but instead of sending a plumber or maintenance worker to inspect the pipes, they sent cleaners with cleaning products – which obviously did not fix the problem at all. When we asked to change rooms, we were told there were no other family rooms available. The hotel management’s handling of the situation was very disappointing. They refused to take responsibility for the health hazard and tried to dismiss the issue. Room 505 is simply uninhabitable until the plumbing is properly fixed. I do not recommend it.

What a great hotel, the breakfast was wonderful, it sits right in the city, and the indoor heated pool was perfect—everything was a solid 10.
