“Comodo per visitare la costiera Amalfitana”

The view was fantastic, the outdoor space beautiful, the room large and spacious, and the terrace enormous—perfect for lunch, dinner, and breakfast under a grape pergola. The owners’ garden was visible, and with their permission you could pick lemons and vegetables, which was convenient for visiting the Amalfi Coast, only a quarter‑hour from Maiori beach and the Amalfi highway. The place is completely inaccessible to cars larger than a Panda, even though it has a garage; it’s impossible to enter with a medium‑sized car. The owners can transport you from a parking spot near the house, but because it’s isolated, unless you have an alternative, we had a motorcycle, which was absolutely impractical.

Elvira welcomed us with enthusiasm and warmth. The fridge had water and fruit. The house was fully equipped: coffee, paper napkins, kitchen towels, and even salt and oil. Every detail was taken care of. The garden, the lovely lemon tree, and a grape pergola let us dine outdoors in fresh air. Temperatures across Italy were very high, which was a bonus! The only downside was the narrow main road and the distance to the bus stop. Elvira still offered full help with transport, doing miracles!

“Spettacolare!”

I can’t think of a better spot to enjoy the beauty of the Tramonti mountains while being close to Maiori’s beaches and the Amalfi Coast. The B&B sits on a lane in one of Tramonti’s hamlets. The place we booked had a spacious kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a terrace with panoramic views. There are lovely tables for meals, a small garden with local produce, and a distinctive lemon tree. Every room was meticulously decorated with furnishings reflecting the colours and traditions of the Coast. The kitchen had an induction hob, an automatic coffee machine, a kettle, and more. TVs were good quality and Wi‑Fi performed well; air‑conditioners were also present. The host let us see the upper‑floor room with an exclusive terrace, which was also great. Walking along Via Carbonaro, where the property is located, you can reach Via Ferriera Sant’Elia, which leads to Via Chiusi, right in front of a small market and, most importantly, the bus stop that takes you to Maiori centre in less than 10 minutes. The route from the property to Via Chiusi on Google Maps takes about 15 minutes one way and 20 minutes back. The path is steep but usually shaded, even in hot hours. Alternatively, the host offers a car‑with‑driver service and is always very helpful, especially if you need a ride to the bus stop. My dog also liked the place! The hosts, Raffaele and Elvira, were precise, available, and very welcoming. Before we left, they gave us some excellent lemons.
