“Great stop for the night.”

We got in really late but they were fine with that, the hotel is brand new and everything was spotless, the room was nice and large, they arranged a taxi to take us to General Giap's resting place, waited while we went there and then brought us back (d500). Our bus out of town was late, so they let us stay in their foyer for 3 hours after check‑out. The only downside was that there were no food stalls nearby; they kindly made us pot noodles and eggs. The location is wrong – check Google Maps for the correct spot a few hundred metres down the road and set back from the main road.

“Sauberes und gutes Hotel”

We arrived at 23:00 with no reservation or anything, the man – I think the owner – welcomed us nicely and gave us a room. The room was super clean with air‑conditioning, a TV, and a good shower; it was our lifesaver for that night.

It’s a new hotel with good beds at a decent price, but the owner apparently never heard of it, didn’t answer my messages, and couldn’t find my reservation. The hotel is hard to locate because it’s not at the spot the app shows; with luck I found it a mile from the listed location.

“Very pleasant hotel in Ba Don”

The hotel is brand‑new, and my room was spotless and bathed in sunlight, with a bed that was very comfortable. The room matched the photos exactly, so there was no feeling of being scammed. It’s one of those rare places in Ba Don that offers cozy rooms at a reasonable price. The location isn’t central, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. There’s only one restaurant within walking distance. Because the hotel was still new when we stayed, our room didn’t have a mini‑fridge or a hair dryer.
