Very good overall. The staff were nice and helpful, the place was very clean, and the breakfast was good. Note: none of the staff spoke English, but Google Translate was sufficient.

“Clean, in great location with free laundry”

The highlight was the free laundry service; you can arrange pickup at any hour and your clothes are returned clean in about 5 hours. I sent my clothes for wash and dry after midnight and had them back first thing in the morning. The room and facilities were very clean, and the complimentary supper was decent. The location was great—quiet neighbourhood but easy to navigate. To get from BaoAn International airport to the hotel, take line 11 directly from the airport to CheGongMiao station, then switch to line 9, take one station to XiaSha, and the hotel is a short walk from Exit D. Very convenient. From the hotel, you can walk underground to KKone mall via the station's Exit B, which also connects to nearby buildings with a good bakery and many meal options. The downside was that, although the hotel is non‑smoking, people were smoking in the rooms and the smoke drifted into the common walkways. The hotel signage isn’t very obvious, but once you exit XiaSha metro station Exit D, just walk straight, cross a small road, pass a badminton hall, and the hotel is there.

“Could have been better- aging property, but near to the mall and metro”

The proximity to KK One mall and the metro was good; you can walk to the mall in 3 minutes via the underground, though the path isn’t sheltered at the start. It was nice to have free laundry services and supper included at night. The cigarette smoke smell filled the corridors throughout the night. Our first assigned room, 8135, had a musty odor that wouldn’t go away, and it was right next to the fire escape exit door where cigarette smell came in strongly from outside. When we were moved to the second room, 8123, the toilet wouldn’t flush! Breakfast lacked continental options; they served the same Chinese breakfast items every day.

We gave a low rating because when we arrived the hotel claimed they had no record of our reservation even though it had been confirmed; they said they don’t work with that booking site yet display many reviews from it, and after causing a lot of stress for our family of four they charged us double the rate shown online for the only room left. They never replied to any of our messages.
