I loved the decor, the horses, and the lovely secluded area. The warm heaters kicked out some heat, and the bathroom was beautiful. However, bring your own induction frying pan if you plan to cook. The dishwasher doesn’t close, so there were dirty cups left from the previous stay. Towels were small and not great. The TV was very small. The area behind the barn where the seating area is was very untidy and not as well maintained as the pictures show. The tap in the kitchen turns on when you run a bath, which leaked me out lol.

The lounge dining area was spacious and comfortable, making a great impression. However, the cooker was difficult to use because there was no fry pan at first, and the replacement was aluminium, which didn’t work with the induction hob. The exterior courtyard and gardens were lovely, and it was a pleasure to wake up to the sound of red kites.

The location was lovely and perfect for our weekend, but the thatch was covered in plastic sheeting, which spoiled the look of the place compared to the photo.

The place was isolated, had good facilities, and felt very private. Some cobwebs in high areas and a bit of dust were present, but that was expected in a barn and not a problem.
