The place was easy to get into, and the bathroom was clean and modern. The heat pump kept it cool, which was fine. The room itself was small, but the garden view was nice, and having a microwave was a handy bonus. The only downside was that there was nowhere to hang clothes.

I stayed in a small room at the back of the building—perfect for a quick overnight. The only issue was a noisy possum that kept popping up on the roof during the night, which was pretty disruptive.

The location was convenient and the bathroom was nice. But we found blood on our bedding, dirty walls near the pillows, and the whole room smelled old. I’m fine with older heritage properties as long as they’re clean, but this place was not, so we left as soon as we could.

The owner was very helpful about our dog, and the hotel’s location was great. Overall, it offered excellent value for the money.
