What I liked most about Syrah is its price‑quality ratio. It wasn’t just what I expected; it surpassed my expectations. I could stay in a quiet place, rest without any problem, enjoy the excellent included breakfast, the staff’s friendliness, and the great location near tourist sites. In short, it will be my go‑to hostel for every trip to Tangier.

The location and bed size were good, but the room was crowded with too many people and very noisy, and there was no air conditioner. I couldn’t sleep because it was too noisy.

The room we got had a shower and sink inside, which is a plus compared to other double rooms. It’s a bit far from the Medina but in an accessible spot with services around. Overall it was clean and well‑maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive, making everything easy for us. Nothing particular to note. The place is what it is—a hostel for young people, cheap and well managed. Although it’s well‑located to visit the most touristy part of the city, in my opinion it’s a bit far from the train station, so you’ll have to walk an hour or take a taxi or other transport.
