The staff were very nice and the room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was fun. It was an amazing value for money.

“Thank you for the stay, but unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking to have a pleasant experience”

I liked that the staff arranged a taxi to the airport for us, which was convenient and helpful. However, we were very disappointed with how the staff treated us. The rooms were not clean, and one room had a strong mold smell even after we aired it out. The staff denied any mold smell, even though five other guests also said the room smelled moldy. We were first told the hotel was fully booked, but after just 10 minutes of back‑and‑forth with staff they suddenly found an available room. This was an incredibly disappointing and unpleasant experience. We expected much better service and cleanliness, and it was upsetting to be treated this way during our stay.

Breakfast was tasty with a wide selection and very good coffee. The pool is nice. The courtyard around an ancient tree is great. The staff are very friendly. The beds are comfortable, and the location is good. Be sure to bring mosquito protection!

“Eine ruhige und gemütliche Oase mitten in Bangkok – sehr empfehlenswert!”

We had a very pleasant stay at the Red Door Samsen Hotel. The hotel feels modern, clean, and surprisingly quiet – a great mix for Bangkok. The green courtyard and relaxed vibe stood out. Rooms were comfortable and well kept, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring the city. From day one we felt right at home and would come back anytime. The only downside is that smoking isn’t allowed on the balcony.
