“Excellent front desk staff and a value for the price modern hotel with easy access to the expressway”

The breakfast offered a full European spread, with both hot and cold options, and the dining area was spotless and tidy; we even had the chance to dine on the patio because the weather was nice. However, finding the hotel was a bit tricky for a first‑time visitor since the roadside sign is small and the building sits back from the road with limited frontage, and parking is somewhat scarce, though it didn’t pose a problem.

The property was new and clean, but it was far from the historic centre and situated in a rough neighbourhood.

The room was spacious, tidy and modern with contemporary bathroom fixtures, and the bed was king‑size and very comfortable; the area around the hotel has plenty of conveniences for a longer stay, such as a supermarket, laundromat, restaurant, bakery, etc., and the location is good for visiting Porto, with the centre reachable in 25 minutes by train. The breakfast was decent but limited in choice, and the power supply would frequently drop for a few minutes; this was not a big deal unless it happened five times at night, when the TV would automatically turn on when the power returned, which was very irritating. During the three nights stayed, this occurred every night.
