I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel's spacious and comfortable rooms, which were equipped with electric blankets to keep me warm on chilly nights. The hotel also offered a convenient laundry service and bus tickets to Laos, and the staff spoke excellent English and Chinese. However, my stay was marred by a few issues, including a sudden drop in water temperature during my shower, a clogged drain, and the surprising absence of toilet paper in the bathroom.

I had a mostly pleasant stay, but the constant road construction outside was a major nuisance. The loud noise and difficult navigation made it hard to enjoy my time at the hotel. Despite this, the hotel itself was fine, and I didn't have any major complaints besides the construction.

My stay had its ups and downs. The hotel's location was incredibly convenient, and the staff accommodated our late arrival, which was a huge relief. However, we encountered some issues with our room - it hadn't been cleaned, and the alternative room we were directed to had a non-functional electrical system that I had to fix myself, following the staff's guidance. Thankfully, the beds came with heating pads, which was a nice touch, even if the beds themselves weren't particularly comfortable.

While the hotel's location and staff were a major plus, I was disappointed by the pervasive mold and water damage throughout the property. The bathroom's leaky ceiling and excessive humidity made for an unpleasant stay, and the bed was an absolute nightmare to sleep in.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the one hand, the reception staff were incredibly helpful in booking a bus for my onward journey and allowed me to leave my luggage until I got picked up, which was a huge relief. The location was also ideal for exploring Sapa, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
