“Excellent central, modern room; Attentive hostess. Parking. Will stay again :-)”
The room was spacious and modern, with heated floor, a contemporary sink, and other interesting amenities. The host was attentive and present, even though the hotel was listed as self‑check‑in; she greeted us, was around for breakfast, and so on. Breakfast was very good, featuring several Icelandic dishes. The elevator, in‑room fridge, and balcony added to the convenience. The location was quieter and more residential, with parking right outside, about 3 km or a 10‑minute drive from Hallgrimskirkja. The light controls had day/night/evening settings, but they were a bit confusing and seemed to affect the whole room and bathroom simultaneously.
