The hotel is near public transport, but the breakfast lacks many items and the products are of very poor quality. A hair dryer is in the bathroom but doesn't work, there's no shower gel, no towel rack, and the shower head is broken so you have to hold it to shower. You can hear the conversations from neighboring rooms, and there are too many suitcases at the front desk, reception, and ground‑floor lounge, blocking the passages and couches because the hotel hosts merchants who use the common areas to store their packages. There are plenty of complaints about this pricey hotel that looks good in photos but hides all its flaws—definitely avoid if you're a tourist.

I had a very pleasant stay at Selenay Hotel Istanbul; the room was comfortable, clean, and spacious enough for a relaxing stay, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with a pleasant smell. The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to public transportation, restaurants, shops, and many of Istanbul’s attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Istanbul. Highly recommended! Nothing was wrong; everything was great.

The stay was great: the hotel was very good and I had a pleasant stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious, with a large and comfortable bed. The bathroom was also clean and had a fresh, pleasant smell. The location is excellent, very close to everything you need, including the tram, restaurants, shops, and other attractions. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again. Nothing was wrong; all was great, thanks to Mr Mohamat.
