“Very good hotel, recommending!”
The breakfast was tasty and the staff were very hospitable. We had a private beach right in the hotel area, and the towels were changed twice a day along with the room cleaning. The restaurant sits on an open terrace overlooking the pool. Room service was spot‑on, though the menu wasn’t huge but the food was good. The taxi stand is right there too – the fare was 18 € but the driver wanted 20 €, and another driver asked for 25 €, so after a brief chat we settled on 20 €. The only oddity was the washbasin in the bedroom entrance being separate from the bathroom – not bad, just strange. When we arrived we asked the reception for a guided‑tour brochure, but nothing was available; however, on our departure after four weeks the receptionist handed us a full set of booklets for various tours and excursions around the island. I was a little uneasy about security because the room door opened directly onto the street’s stairwell, but the manager assured me that even without cameras the stairwell was monitored all the time, so we felt at ease.
