The hotel's breakfast, location, modern rooms, and proximity to various attractions were all major positives, but I was disappointed to find that the checkout time listed on the door was incorrect, which caused some confusion.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the city, which was a huge plus, and the hotel's proximity to the National University of Trujillo was also a major advantage, but unfortunately, I was given a room on the 4th floor, where the cistern was extremely loud throughout the night, and the hot water took an inordinate amount of time to arrive.
