“A charming historic stay in the heart of town, made unforgettable by Carlo’s warmth and hospitality”

We booked Carlo’s house for a romantic escape and it turned out to be a delightful experience. Carlo himself is a genuinely warm and communicative host who clearly cares about every guest and wants everyone to enjoy their stay. The property is a fascinating old house that dates back several centuries, situated right in the heart of the main square, next to a café that transforms into a bar in the evening and close to a restaurant. Even though the square buzzes at night with people sitting outside and chatting, the room stayed surprisingly quiet and private. Everything was clean, well maintained and beautifully designed, full of character. The bed was comfortable, the room had everything we needed, and the air conditioning worked extremely well, which was especially important because we stayed during a very hot period. Breakfast is served at the nearby café, which was excellent, and the staff there were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. There is also a dining area upstairs at the property with plenty of extra food and refreshments available in case you are still hungry. Overall, this was a charming, comfortable and very memorable place to stay, made even more special by Carlo’s hospitality. The only small drawback was that it was difficult to ventilate the room while we were away. We found a way to manage it, so it did not affect our overall experience.

“Caratteristica”

The location was impeccable, the staff were kind and the place was clean. The room, although a bit small for four people, was very characteristic and the result of a beautiful restoration on an ancient structure. The owners did an excellent job preserving and restoring everything. The ceiling in the room is lovely. The room was a bit small for four people and there was no refrigerator in the room, although a refrigerator was available in the common room.

“Agnone in love”

The ancient dwelling was restored, the owner was super helpful, and we liked Rosanna’s pastries at breakfast. It’s located in one of the most beautiful corners of the city of Agnone. The room was poorly acoustically isolated considering its position relative to the kitchen/dining area.

The old house was made beautiful and welcoming while respecting the original structure. Ancient details remind us of old times. The location is central and, with a bit of luck, you can also find paid parking, but it’s very cheap. Mr. Carlo welcomed us with great kindness and exquisite breakfasts. I would love to return.
