The attention to detail and the care put into finishing this house were outstanding. Its spot in Nara is perfect for exploring, and the train links to Kyoto and Osaka are convenient. While many places claim exclusivity, this one truly delivered, making the price worth it. The Japanese style, long and narrow, might not suit everyone, but it didn’t bother us.

We found the new accommodation extremely comfortable. The manager was very enthusiastic and arrived earlier than promised, showing genuine honesty that left a good impression. Being right in the heart of Nara made sightseeing a breeze.

We had a fantastic stay at Machiya no Yado Gu! The house felt like traditional Japan yet was fully equipped with modern comforts. It was spacious, quiet, and beautifully designed, and its unbeatable spot just steps from Nara Park made it perfect. The host was one of the best we’ve met, going out of his way to help us and even driving us to the train station on his birthday. Looking forward to returning!
