The Haus On Mirror Lake

“Somewhat underwhelming.”

The beds were comfortable and the accommodation spacious, but parking arrangements were complicated and there were many stairs to climb to reach the accommodation. Kitchen equipment was limited. Noise from the construction site opposite started at 6 am when builders began throwing rubbish into a skip, followed by persistent bleeping noise from machinery reversing. Management did not respond to this issue when reported. Because of the central location, we also experienced some noise from the public in the evening even though we visited out of season.

I recently stayed at a hotel that had its fair share of ups and downs. The staff was incredibly helpful and responsive whenever we needed assistance, which was a huge plus. On the other hand, the hotel's automatic entrance system was quite frustrating, as it frequently malfunctioned, leaving us to figure out how to get in.

I was really pleased with the hotel's location, which was perfect for exploring the area. The in-room kitchen was also a nice touch. However, I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the bedding, which looked like it might not be made of 100% cotton. It wasn't quite up to my standards.

“Haus Lake Placid”

My stay at this charming hotel in the heart of Lake Placid was truly unforgettable. The hotel's central location allowed us to easily access everything we needed, and the beautiful porch overlooking Mirror Lake was a perfect spot to relax and take in the breathtaking views. The staff at the hotel were incredibly responsive to our needs, making sure we had everything we required during our stay.

“A very nice place to stay in Lake Placid. You can easily walk to anyplace in town”

The property's location was ideal for exploring Lake Placid, and our apartment, Apartment 4, offered a serene atmosphere thanks to its quiet surroundings.
