“It’s ok”
Good location and roomy room. Breakfast and elevator were lacking.
“Good place to stay if you are driving; we came by train and Metro and then had to take Ubers.”
The room was clean, well designed, and fully stocked. Food options could be better; I understand renovations are happening, but it was disappointing not to have a meal available.
“Nice”
The room was nice and spacious, and the bathroom was very clean, but the view from the window was just a bunch of construction equipment.
The pool was shut down without any warning.
“Too crowded, understaffed, and inconvenient for the price. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.”
The hotel was reasonably priced for New York and the complimentary breakfast was a nice perk. The room was clean on arrival and the hotel itself seemed fairly modern. The place appeared fully booked yet severely understaffed, with only two or three people at the small front desk. Breakfast was overcrowded and chaotic, with long buffet lines, large crowds, limited seating, and staff unable to keep up with table cleaning. The room was tiny, and housekeeping was inconsistent—towels weren’t always replaced even when we requested daily cleaning. When we asked for toilet paper, we were told that if we only needed one roll we’d have to go down to the front desk ourselves because no one was available to bring it up. The location was also inconvenient for sightseeing, adding extra travel time.
