I stayed in the city center, which made moving around easy, but outside the area felt heavy and full of poverty. I found cockroaches in the room, waking up in the middle of the night with them crawling on the bed. The first thing I saw when I entered the room were cockroaches, and they market the place as a hostel when it’s really a motel; people came and went all night, causing a lot of noise inside and outside, and the constant cigarette smell. The reception staff could have been better, but I understand it’s impossible to be happy in a place like that. On the last day we had no hot water.

It was cheap and had everything needed for a short stay. The area can get a bit dangerous at night.

The people working there were friendly and attentive; my room had no window, and I personally prefer natural light.
