The hotel sits on a fantastic spot with a panoramic view and it was quiet enough for us to relax with our two little kids. The restaurant served solid food – breakfast and dinner were both tasty – and we felt well‑taken‑care‑of. Apart from a few tiny hiccups that didn’t really bother us, we’d gladly book another night here if we return to the area.

The view from the room was absolutely wonderful, but the accommodation itself felt a bit dated for the price we paid. The furniture was old, the kitchen didn’t have the full menu and the portions were on the small side, and to top it off there was no hot water in the bathroom.

This is the only hotel near Krastova Gora that also has a tavern, which is why we chose it for our hike to Karadzhov Stone; the panorama, fresh air, quiet and even the swallows were a real plus. Unfortunately, we were surprised by a neighboring house throwing a disco that lasted until 8 am, and the hotel’s cleanliness fell short of what we expected. The tavern’s prices were a bit high, it didn’t serve cooked Rhodope dishes, and everything seemed to be made on the spot.

Parking right behind the hotel was very convenient, and there wasn’t anything that really irritated me during the stay. The only minor annoyance was the air‑conditioner making a bit of noise in the morning, but I got used to it quickly.
