The spot is really cute and tranquil. The house feels homely with a lovely garden, plus you can borrow outdoor gear, get groceries, and there's a clean beach close by.

The location is good and quiet, and the room slept very well. We didn't get breakfast, and it was a surprise that the whole island had no service. The summer cafés were a disappointment.

The place was lovely! We were the only ones in the house. The owner prepared a fantastic brunch before we left. It was quiet and cozy. I’d recommend it to anyone driving or riding through the archipelago. Arriving by ferry and finding the spot with maps was easy. Kumlinge is a charming place!

Overall, a nice house, lovingly decorated, with a large garden, but the host seemed a bit scattered and overwhelmed with her duties. As a hostel for the price we paid, it was okay, but not worth the 109 € we expected, even for the Åland. The kitchen was well equipped yet untidy, with moldy food in the fridge, a dirty coffee machine, and the previous guests’ trash not removed. The shared bathroom was dirty, with unwashed laundry in the basket, a stained shower tray, and a musty smell. Reaching the host by phone was difficult, but she called back after about 45 minutes.
