The breakfast was rich and excellent, service was very good, and the location was a bomb – we walked everywhere, from the square to the crossing, to the nearby Palladium mall, great clubs, a supermarket, and so on. The lounge was superb and the spa was very nice, intimate, and pleasant. The lobby felt a bit small, probably because of the central location. The massages were relatively cheap compared to the country, but not that professional.

The hotel matched my expectations in terms of services and room size, and the breakfast was great. The room offered more space than most European hotels, and the bathroom had been renovated with a nice shower. However, people in the Czech Republic generally don’t smile, and the staff were no exception, though they did their job well and efficiently. The hotel felt dark, and the room lighting was hard to turn on and off. It lacked character and felt boring, which is hard to notice unless you’ve been elsewhere; nothing was wrong, but nothing was great either.

The old building was charming and the location was super convenient for everything. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was great, plus the towels were fantastic. The only hiccup was that one of the lift operators was a bit over the top.
