The staff (excluding management) were wonderful, but the air‑conditioning was broken and the engineering/maintenance took too long to respond. The ocean villa had no hot water, a claim that management denied, and the service was ridiculously inadequate and poorly organized.

It was an amazing experience at a hotel with nice facilities, incredible staff, and amazing villas, plus plenty of activities and restaurants on the island.

Getting from the airport by speedboat to the hotel was easy, and checking in and getting into the room took no time; we had to wait about an hour for the room, so we ate lunch at the restaurant while staff told us when it was ready. The kids thought the jars of lollies and nuts were complimentary, separate from the minibar snacks and drinks, and I was a little shocked at the cost of those jars at checkout—maybe the staff should explain that they are not complimentary.

The size and comfort were good, but the showers had low water pressure.

The breakfast was marvellous and everything else was fantastic; we’ll be back next year to celebrate our 20‑year anniversary, and we have no complaints, so we’ll definitely return.
