We loved this spot! The location was spot‑on, the staff were super helpful and nice. The rooms are lovely and the bed is so comfy. We recommend it to any couple visiting Cartagena! Everything is perfect.

This boutique hotel is a gem in terms of décor and renovation, and the location is perfect. It’s in the middle of the beautiful old town yet very quiet thanks to the charming courtyard that blocks street noise. Breakfast is well‑prepared and complete: partly buffet, eggs cooked on request, plenty of choices. Definitely a must‑visit! Not every staff member was equally friendly and helpful. At check‑in we got almost no explanation from the lady at the desk. The guy who helped us with our luggage and showed us the room was very friendly and gave us the needed info about breakfast hours, etc. In the hallway there was always some dirty dish left behind by the cleaners, giving a sloppy impression. We had the room with a large terrace, which is very nice. However, a few cushions on the garden chairs would be appreciated. The little restaurant that also serves breakfast is small and the air‑conditioning is a bit too high. It’s a pity that the outdoor tables aren’t covered when the weather is nice.

The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was great, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the location is excellent. The old building is gorgeous. Nothing to add.

The location was very good and the staff attentive, making it pleasant to stay. We requested a Junior Suite but were assigned room 211, where we slept terribly because a boiler room just outside the bathroom produced constant noise all night, making it feel like sleeping in a factory. This contradicted the hotel’s emphasis on sound insulation, as all rooms have acoustic doors, yet the bathroom window in 211 let the boiler noise in. Both bathrooms also had hot‑water issues in the main shower. The next day we asked for a change and were moved to room 203, where the experience was completely different and we slept well. Overall, we liked the hotel, but room 211 should not be offered as a Junior Suite in its current state; the noise problem is too significant for that category.

“Un vrai boutique hôtel chic”

The hotel sits in a quiet, chic part of Cartagena. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The staff are considerate and always attentive. It’s a lovely address that truly deserves its boutique hotel status. Rooms on the ground floor are a bit dark.
