The hotel was close to the area I needed, but the reception was cold, no staff helped with luggage, the lift was broken, and the bedding and bathroom were awful: the sheets were grey instead of white, the pillow inside the case was brown and smelly, and we booked two nights but could only stay one before moving on.

The reception desk was as cold as a prison door, the room barely met minimum standards with a spring mattress that left a lot to be desired, the air smelled stale, housekeeping was minimal, the breakfast was almost non‑existent, a man was sleeping on the back sofa in the lounge, the front desk staff didn’t speak English, in short, it was an emergency fix‑up that’s clearly worth avoiding.

The staff were really kind to me during my one-night stay, and I appreciated their helpfulness. It's a no-frills place, but it's cheap and I think it's a good value. Nice.

The staff here are friendly and always have a smile ready, which made my stay better. The location is great, close to Udayana University, which was convenient for my work trip. However, the bathroom had a pretty bad smell and some of the metal fixtures were rusty, which wasn't great. I also chose this place because I thought there was a McDonald's nearby, but it turned out to be closed permanently, which was a bit of a letdown.

Great location, right in the city, and the local food is perfect. One thing that's a bit of a downside is that there aren't enough zebra crossings around.
