We appreciated having a bathroom that was fairly clean, but the hotel turned out to be a huge construction site, which wasn’t mentioned before. When we arrived, the only room available was the last one that hadn’t yet been demolished or stripped; it was still in an unfinished state, though the bathroom was tidy. The receptionist was friendly but couldn’t help us out of this unpleasant situation because no other rooms were available, and we weren’t even offered a discount for the condition.

The staff were nice and the price was good, but the dogs kept barking.

“Clean hotel, way overpriced!”

There was no breakfast offered, and this bare‑minimum Econo Lodge didn’t justify the high rate I paid. The only amenity I could find was a hair dryer, and the TV only had one channel. The signage should read “Econo-ish.” The TV’s single channel and broken remote, lack of storage space, no decent breakfast, and a drab lobby made the daily rate feel excessive for a hotel by an interstate, next to an empty lot in a small town miles from downtown.

The location and staff were fine, but the beds weren’t queens, the bathroom sink was disgusting, the shower was nice, and the TV was tucked in a corner, giving the room a dorm‑room vibe for $125. The laminate floor in the bathroom had gaps and there was no exhaust fan to vent steam and moisture. I’m just telling the truth; I can’t recommend staying there.

The value was great, but the hallway carpet looked like it needed replacing and the back entry door didn’t latch properly, which could be a security issue.
