“Waste of money”

I liked the area the resort was in, but the room was tiny, expensive, and smelled of mold and mildew, so I didn’t use the shower. The ice was in a completely different building with no directions or lighting, and the amenities were unavailable. The staff was unhelpful or missing, and I didn’t eat breakfast, leaving as fast as possible.

“Great place to stay in the region and close to the Mineral and Gem Museum”

The location was good, breakfast was good, and the town, restaurant, and bar were all walkable and also nice.

“at the price i paid, I expected a luxury hotel experience. and it left much to be desired”

The continental breakfast was typical—nothing special. The toilet was broken and needed repair, the hallway was filled with clutter and looked like an art storage room, and the shower head would not slide up.

“Do not waste your money”

The location was great, but it was very overpriced for the quality. The prices are solely based on the fact that there is a golf course, not on the quality of the experiences. My outdated room smelled like a nursing home, had a broken light switch + ceiling fan switch, the remote had no backing, the toilet ran the entire time, and the bathroom door was shockingly difficult to close. The sink was brown from years of bad water sitting stagnant because the drains are undersized/plugged; it takes about 5 minutes for the water from brushing your teeth to drain out. Lastly, that continental breakfast was a joke. I’ve been trying to figure out what about my visit could justify the cost, and I have nothing. Upcharging for an outdated mess is not justified by having a golf course.
