“Sweet little boutique hotel”

We enjoyed our stay at Chez Oliv. It’s a small boutique hotel with bamboo huts in an exotic garden on a side street of Calle n.6. (If you go during the European summer, bring earplugs—this applies to literally every accommodation in Palomino.) The little pool is nice and refreshing, and the breakfast in the open kitchen prepared by the two sweet ladies was great! They’re extremely kind and even took me and my boy to the pharmacy for ear medicine.

“Mejorar la parte de comodidad del huésped”

The service was good. The issue was that there was only one fan for two beds, and it was broken. I requested a change and they gave me another broken fan, so the heat was quite high for each bed. Considering the poor electrical quality, at least two fans should have been provided—one per bed—and the girl complained a lot about the heat.

“Tranquila y amena”

The hotel is a quiet, pleasant little spot that felt just right for a relaxed stay. Everything ran smoothly and matched the description, so I couldn’t find any complaints. Would definitely come back.

The place has a great eco‑friendly vibe and the staff were super friendly – we felt right at home chatting with them. The only downside was the price; some of the amenities were still broken when we arrived and they never got fixed before we left, so it felt a bit over the top for what we got.

“Ójala poder volver pronto!”

The cabins are gorgeous and comfy, and Olga the manager is just amazing – she treated us like family and even made the best arepas. The only thing that bothered us was the weak Wi‑Fi and the shower sometimes only dripped a thin stream.
