The hotel is gorgeous; every level is a visual feast. The restaurant serves super delicious food—there are like two restaurants in one. The rooms are quite dated and look old; I stayed in the 80 sq room, but the hotel’s beauty makes up for the rooms.

The house is gorgeous and in a great neighbourhood. Everyone is very courteous and helpful. The food is delicious, and the roof terrace is almost perfect for a sundowner. Breakfast was okay but not outstanding (plate dishes), and there’s no laundry service.

The welcome was warm and the place had a certain charm with great restaurants, but the ground‑floor room was too dark and the air conditioner and fans were so noisy that I had to switch them off for the night despite the heat and high humidity.
