“Çok keyifli”

The hotel is both a museum and a lodging place, so expectations should differ. The rooms were different from my expectations but well furnished. Each room had its own style, with beautiful stained glass in the bathrooms, wall paintings, and the shower and toiletries (towel, toothbrush, etc.) were nice. The staff were very helpful. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to everything. The only issue is that on busy days there might be noise from the parking on the side.

The hotel is a 1‑minute walk to the main street and all the restaurants. Clean, tidy, each room is themed. The staff is great. There is parking.

The hotel itself is beautiful, rooms clean, well‑maintained, and the location excellent—those were the main reasons I booked. Unfortunately, my experience was ruined by how the hotel handled its guest policy. During booking, it never said overnight visitors were not allowed or that an extra fee would be charged. I wasn’t told this at check‑in either. Had I known, I would have chosen another place. Later, staff demanded an extra payment because I wanted a friend to stay overnight. When I asked for the hotel policy or any written rule, they couldn’t provide anything. They insisted I had to pay. Their attitude was rude, they pressured me repeatedly, and they initially wouldn’t let me speak with the manager. I respect hotel policies, but they must be transparent and clearly communicated before a reservation or at least during check‑in. Unexpected charges based on undisclosed rules are simply unacceptable. It’s a shame because the hotel itself is lovely, but due to this experience and how I was treated, I would not stay again and cannot recommend it.

I was really taken with the interior and vibe—so many antique pieces displayed like in a museum! If you, like me, love history and all things old, this is the spot. The rooms were spotless and had everything needed; the sheets were good quality, the plumbing worked fine, and there was a spacious wardrobe plus a fridge. The courtyard and the overall cozy space full of handmade items (knitting, embroidery) were a highlight; I spent a lovely morning there with coffee and my knitting. The place was quiet, no music from the promenade, and the area was calm even though the promenade is just a two‑minute walk away. Nearby, there are plenty of charming restaurants with live music. The only downsides were the Wi‑Fi in the room being unreliable and the AC having only two settings—either it blew hard or it was off. The fridge’s light‑off button was broken, so it stayed bright at night and I had to cover it with a towel 😁 (just turn the light off, it’s not much needed). Those three little issues cost me a point. Otherwise, a wonderful hotel for the price. If I’m in Bodrum again, I’ll book here.
