I was flying solo and this room turned out to be a solid pick. The queen bed was comfy, the en‑suite felt like a little spa, and the Wi‑Fi was buttery smooth. The host was quick to answer and genuinely helpful, and the spot on Queen St West is a goldmine – shops, restaurants, nightlife, and a streetcar right outside.

The place is a decent spot for walking around town – the bed was comfy, the bathroom was private, and we had a shared kitchen and even a back‑garden parking spot. The host sent clear directions and asked us to flag any mess or noise. But the room was dusty, the bathroom light was controlled from the kitchen so you had to step out to flip it, and on the second night we had to deal with another guest blasting the washer at 2 am.

The place sits nicely near downtown and the Toronto port, and the directions were crystal clear. The room is on the smaller side – three of us had to squeeze onto the sofa – and the free parking is a single spot shared by two rooms, so the first guest who shows up gets it even if you booked six months in advance. That was a bit annoying.

Getting in was a breeze thanks to the clear instructions and self‑check‑in. The only downside was the extra bed – the mattress was too small for a teenager.
