The room was the right size and the location was great; it felt very homely. Gill was a wonderful host and the warm welcome breakfast was spot on. The only issue was an elderly cat crying outside our room the first night, and Gill mentioned it wasn’t feeling well.

Gill was such a lovely host—friendly, welcoming, and hard‑working. The breakfast was delicious, with proper coffee both in the room and at the breakfast table. The bed was very comfortable, giving us two excellent nights of sleep. The place is animal‑friendly and it was great to meet the animals in the yard and inside the house. We can’t wait to return. Nothing to complain about.
