“Déplorable. Je met l’accent sur l’hygiène, mon bébé de 1an et demi a chopé un virus et a du se faire hospitaliser et tou”
Nothing!
It’s unacceptable; if Tunisia had a hygiene committee, the establishment would have been closed for a long time. The room was unclean, with cockroaches every night. The shower was clogged, the bath towel was worn. No equipment. The housekeeper washed the floor with dirty water and cleaned the sink and toilet with the broom from the small broom set. After she left, I found hair and dirt on the floor because her mop was unusable and dirty. At the dining hall, we were served on dirty tables with tablecloths full of bacteria that weren’t cleaned. When we tried to take a plate, the plates stuck at the back. The food was disgusting: undercooked potatoes, air renewal problems. The staff didn’t respond when you said “salam aleykoum” or “hello”; they all stared, were all unhelpful. The staff were inexperienced in hospitality. I asked the hostess for the meal times, she was on her phone and said she didn’t know, and an hour later I asked again: she still didn’t know and didn’t even try to find the information—shameful. Common area// Pool, we were packed in the water like sardines: the lounge chairs were lined up with no space between them, and they were in indescribable dirt. The lounge area for resting was air‑conditioned: there was only one space, which was noisy and not comfortable at all. The chairs and sofas were not cozy and the space was too small for the number of guests. I came with my parents and a deplorable room; they had no pleasant, air‑conditioned space to settle. They were in the small blue café but they sweated because it was outside.
