We really loved the hut and its location—it was cosy and quiet. The host was super helpful and provided a few things we needed. I'd highly recommend it.

I received a friendly, warm greeting and was informed about local restaurants and places to visit. I enjoyed sitting outside with a cup of tea and watching the alpacas. Nothing else to add.

The hut’s location is amazing and the bed was so comfortable. It was great to be able to light a fire and warm up the hut in the evenings.

The shepherds hut is absolutely gorgeous, with a really well‑equipped kitchen and a super comfortable bed. The location is beautiful, surrounded by amazing alpaca and sheep neighbours, making it a lovely spot for a relaxing weekend away. The hosts were super helpful, even providing a full‑length mirror for getting ready for a wedding! The nearby village has a lovely pub for dinner. The shower block is very basic—a shower in a portaloo—and they do have plans to upgrade it, so bring flip‑flops and maybe a dry bag to make showering easier. The hut is 5 star, though.
