The staff are friendly, the pub is great, and the atmosphere is fantastic in this fab location. The old pub itself has no double glazing on the front room on Main Street, so if you’re sensitive to noise, the night traffic might bother you, though they did provide earplugs. Overall we found it fine.

We spent New Year’s Eve at the Thorverton Arms and had an amazing night. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and it seemed nothing was too much trouble. Everyone in the village was also lovely and welcoming. We had breakfast on New Year’s Day and it was amazing too. Thank you all so much; we’re already talking about coming back and joining you again. We couldn’t find any fault; it was just what we needed.
