The location was safe with a gate that required a code to enter. Debbie, the property manager, was amazing, and the chef was great; breakfast was excellent. However, there was no hot water on the second day and the shower quality was poor overall, and only one of four light bulbs worked in the bathroom.

The staff’s hospitality went beyond our expectations; we felt welcomed and cared for, even with special dietary needs. The location is ideal for exploring El Yunque rainforest and the east side of the island, and it’s about a 30‑minute drive to the airport and San Juan. We preferred the mountain and jungle setting over the city. Don’t book activities too early in the morning or you’ll miss an extraordinary breakfast! Give yourself time to relax in the common area and hammocks. The bed was very comfortable, and we felt very safe. The only suggestion is to add screens to the windows so we could sleep with them open to the jungle sounds.

The staff, especially Debbie, gave us outstanding personal service and the breakfast was fantastic. Even though the hotel sits just off a busy highway, the jungle surrounding it keeps the place very quiet and secluded.

We had an amazing stay at Dos Aquas; the coqui frogs helped us fall asleep in the ultra‑comfortable beds and rooms, giving our family some of the best nights of sleep in years. The staff went above and beyond, adding a personal touch to every part of our visit, and they made traveling with a toddler a breeze. We’re already looking forward to returning.
