Everything was just perfect—from the peaceful setting to the cozy A‑Frame itself. The spot is quiet, serene, and spotless, making it a great escape from the everyday noise. The vibe is incredibly relaxing, and the location has a special charm that makes you want to slow down, breathe, and just enjoy the moment. The A‑Frame feels warm, snug, and thoughtfully arranged, giving that perfect at‑home feel while still enjoying a getaway. I especially loved the freedom to cook at my own pace and enjoy my own food, making the stay feel even more personal and homely. If you’re after a place to disconnect, relax, enjoy nature, and spend some peaceful time away from the hustle and bustle, I’d definitely recommend this spot. A wonderful experience—definitely 10/10

The amenities were decent, but the location is terrible. It sits right in the middle of a construction site. The property itself isn’t well built. There’s a gas cylinder with a metal plate inside, right between all the wooden furnishings; it’s meant to heat charcoal, but if you do that on top of the cylinder it’s a huge fire hazard. The bedsheets were full of dust. The floorboards creaked and were very bendy. There’s no storage tank, and the pressure pump has to be turned on each time you need water.

Such a cozy place to stay in Shillong! Stayed at The A Frame for 2 nights and honestly it was one of the finest and cozy stays I’ve had in Shillong. The place has a very warm vibe, really well done interiors and just perfect to chill and relax. The owner was super friendly and always available if we had any questions or needed something. You can tell they actually care about the guests and wanna make sure your stay is good. Everything was clean and neat, and the overall experience was amazing. Would def recommend to anyone visiting Shillong. Highly recommended. Would love to come back again, whenever in Shillong
