Hotel Sergul

I don't usually leave reviews, but this is an exception. I stayed at this hotel for several days while searching for a flat in London. The room was nice and clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is amazing, close to tube and bus stations. There are also plenty of places to eat in the area and a big Tesco nearby. The owner was the sweetest lady I've ever met! She was really helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel if you're planning a trip to London!

“Dem Preis angemessen.”

No breakfast, but there was a kettle, tea and biscuits in the room. It was okay. Friendly and helpful owner. Very quiet and relatively good location, three bus stops to the Underground, or by foot. The shower does not meet European standards. The shower head was fixed to the rod, so you actually had to get your hair wet while showering. The English had only bathtubs without showers until recently.

The personal touch was appreciated; Mara runs it like a small business, the setup is cozy, clean, and purely functional. The one‑bedroom rate is higher than what I’ve paid elsewhere in my travels, probably because of London’s cost of living, not the hotel itself. In the road‑facing room the traffic noise can be annoying at times.

“Traditional, clean, comfortable beds; friendly support”

Thank you for the pleasant stay in your house, dear Mara; despite the high temperatures outside (and inside), we enjoyed London and Hammersmith.

“Horrible experience”

When I arrived on 13th July for my booking from 13th‑16th July after a 12‑hour shift, the landlady introduced me to her son, and I found it very indecent that he was smoking weed; I felt their attitude was very strange and disrespectful, and I didn’t feel safe, so I asked for a refund but she took my luggage and refused to return it; I paid her full amount for three nights and started searching for another room at 21:30. The place was very dirty, had cracks in the walls, and smelled bad.
