Rayees, the host, was excellent and very helpful, offering useful local tips. The property itself, however, needs urgent upgrades.

The first thing that catches your eye is the Lidder River right in front of the hotel—perfect for a scenic Kashmir stay. The rooms were spacious, tidy, and clean, and there’s a small garden too. Away from Pehlgaon’s hustle, it felt like a quiet retreat in Kashmir. About half a kilometer from the hotel, there are several veg and non‑veg restaurants with good food. Our stay was very pleasant, comfortable, and beautiful. ❤
