The house is very beautiful and we had a good stay. The exterior could use a slight refresh, the plaster is a bit worn in some places. The bath towels are excellent quality, very pleasant to use.

I stayed in a very unique and special old house that was spotless, and the staff and owner were incredibly kind and helpful.

Stepping back into the mid‑19th century felt real, and the rooms were beautifully appointed; parking was a breeze. The bathroom left something to be desired: if body wash is offered, washcloths should also be provided, and disposable cups are an essential amenity. A TV with cable was great, but the remote was confusing and needed clearer instructions.
