“Avoid this hotel.”
You can pay with a Visa card, and the location offers a view of Freetown. The room has hot water and AC, and breakfast was good. The restaurant food was also good but pricey. Wi‑Fi was missing in the room, though available on the terrace. We had a $20 dinner credit from booking, but only one person knew about it. The tennis court was closed, and there was only one towel for the pool for two people. When we asked the receptionist for a taxi the next morning, she said she’d ask and tell us later, but she never did. The next morning we received a call that the taxi had arrived; when we asked for the price it was expensive for a 10‑minute drive, and when we asked her to offer a better rate she declined and sent the driver away. We had to walk about 20 minutes with two large suitcases. I will avoid this hotel because of the lack of professionalism among some staff. Better communication could make it much better.

The view was stunning and I loved the pool, which was cleaned every day, and the beds were comfortable aside from the decorative pillows that smelled like they’d never been washed; the staff were friendly, the gym was nice but needed fans, and the à‑la‑carte restaurant served excellent food at a high price. However, my room was infested with tiny cockroaches daily, and a single spray from housekeeping didn’t solve it; the door was left open all day by a cleaner, and the breakfast was disappointing—wet bread on the first try, sometimes cold beans, industrial‑tasting cakes, and I kept worrying about bugs in the kitchen; the Wi‑Fi was just okay.

The balcony view is nice, the pool is clean, and electricity and water are constant; the restaurant food is good for dinner and lunch but not necessarily breakfast. The breakfast buffet was disappointing, sheets, pots, etc. weren't clean, the décor fell apart when I tried to serve myself, and it was quite empty after 8:30 am. Maintenance could improve overall, especially given the price. Rooms were okay, but bins weren't emptied, there was a tray with old food and forks left on the floor.
