We were welcomed warmly by Elena and Gethyn, who showed us the room and the bathroom, both spotlessly clean. The bed was wonderful, and they left a tasty grab‑and‑go breakfast and even shower gel for the road. We stayed for one night while passing through to Italy, and had no complaints at all.

It was a quiet place on the weekend, but weekdays can get noisy because of a neighboring company. The pillows were very thick and uncomfortable for sleeping.

We were deeply impressed by the hosts’ hospitality; it’s rare to find such a warm, friendly welcome where you feel at home the moment you step in. The location is excellent—about a half‑hour drive from the Grossglockner Hochalpenstraße—and the area is peaceful and quiet, with nearby regional spots that serve great food. The room was spacious, comfortable, impeccably clean and fragrant, with a very comfortable bed, showing meticulous attention to detail and guest comfort. The host was extremely friendly, open, and chatty, greeting us warmly and offering a beer. A pleasant surprise was the takeaway breakfast prepared for us. We only regret that we were just passing through; this place will stay in our memory and we’ll gladly return! 🙂
