The hotel’s location and the staff’s openness were positives; they speak frankly and are very polite, which I appreciate. On the downside, cleanliness was pathetic—cockroaches and lizards were in the room. The phone didn’t work when I checked in, and when I asked for a bathrobe, the staff honestly said they didn’t know how to provide one.

The location is stunning, right in the heart of Kappad Beach, with tiny shops and restaurants just a short stroll away, and the property itself is tidy, friendly and comfortable; the only downside was that the pool water level was a bit low and the circulation could have been better, though it wasn’t a major issue.
