The location was perfect for getting to downtown restaurants, and the staff were helpful with suggestions for sights and activities. The breakfast spread was generous and satisfying, and our room was cozy and well maintained. I appreciated the effort to preserve the period feel of the property, and the complimentary sweets and wine were a nice touch. I would have liked a guide on how to use the TV and what streaming services were available beyond the news channels. The bathroom lighting was a bit dim, making it hard to see when shaving; the two‑way mirror helped but required stepping away from the sink.
