The location was good, but the hotel was under construction and I think it shouldn't have been accepting guests. I was given the wrong room compared to what I booked, the staff seemed flustered, and the restaurant was closed because of construction.

The hotel was undergoing major renovations, a fact that wasn't disclosed beforehand, so we had to scramble to find another place to stay. When we got there, they agreed to cancel our reservation, and I'm still waiting for confirmation of a full refund.

We appreciated the historical vibe of the room and building, and the location was excellent. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. However, the property was under renovation and we weren't informed before we arrived, so we heard construction noises during the day, the attached dining was closed, and we had to pay for on‑site parking.
